About Me

Hi, I’m Molly. I studied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Birmingham before going on to complete a master’s degree in Theoretical Physics at the University of Nottingham.
My route into educational content started while I was still at university. I worked as part of a team creating materials for an A-level Physics course at a local tuition centre, and really enjoyed the process. During my master’s, I took on a project for Maths Made Easy, writing mock AQA A-level Physics papers. I loved creating questions and thinking about how to test students’ understanding, and this project helped me realise that educational content development was something I wanted to pursue as a career.
After graduating, I spent a year teaching A-level Physics and Maths before joining Revision Village, where I’ve spent the last three years creating Physics resources for the International Baccalaureate (IB). I continue to work with Revision Village alongside tutoring students in Maths and Physics across GCSE, A-level and IB.
I’ve also worked as an examiner for OCR and AQA, marking A-level Maths papers, and have contributed to resource-development projects for AQA A-level Maths and Further Maths. These have included revision mats, shadow papers and worked papers. I still really enjoy the process of writing questions and developing resources, both through my work at Revision Village and independently. This website is a place to share some of that work.
Through tutoring, I've seen how useful topic-specific practice can be for students revising for exams. While there are plenty of questions available online, many topic question collections draw on past exam papers, meaning students may have already seen the questions or want to save them for full exam practice. I wanted to create original topic tests that students can use for focused revision, practise applying their knowledge to unfamiliar questions, and identify areas where they need more practice.

I love travelling and have been lucky enough to work remotely while exploring different parts of the world. Some of my favourite adventures so far include taking a cargo boat down the Amazon, visiting some of the world's oldest known cave paintings in Sulawesi and completing a solo 1,000 km bikepacking trip across Thailand.
I'm currently based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and I'm always looking forward to the next adventure!
I'm also a big fan of puzzles and have competed in a national jigsaw puzzle competition!
