About Me

I am a maths and physics tutor with seven years of experience supporting GCSE, A level and IB students. I hold a bachelors degree in Theoretical Physics and Applied mathematics from the University of Birmingham and master’s degree in Gravity, Particles and Fields from the University of Nottingham. After finishing university, I taught A level maths and physics before moving into freelance educational content development, where I create exam questions, notes and videos for major providers. My work combines teaching experience with a strong understanding of assessment design, which allows me to help students develop both subject knowledge and effective exam technique.

About My Sessions

My sessions focus on developing real understanding, not just memorising methods. When core ideas make sense, difficult questions become much more manageable. I work with students to identify specific gaps in knowledge, explain concepts clearly, and then apply them to exam-style problems. Lessons are fully tailored to each student’s goals, exam board and learning style. We spend time on both conceptual understanding and exam technique, using insights from my examiner experience to show how marks are awarded and where marks are commonly lost. After each session, students receive brief written feedback outlining what was covered and suggested next steps.
